Our Mission
To provide help and support to the needy by providing a wide range of services that seek to bring enhancement and growth to individuals and families through the resources of the church and God Almighty.
Our Philosophy
We believe in demonstrating our care and concern to the community by reaching out earnestly to meet their needs, and serving the community in a culturally relevant way with no string attached. When people are being reached, they are being preached.
Approach
We seek to reach out through the TEACH concept:
- Teaching on the substantive issues of life.
- Equipping the people with the necessary coping skills in the handling of their problems.
- Analysing the needs of the community and organising effective programme to meet their needs.
- Caring for the community by reaching out to them at the point of their needs.
- Helping the members to see the need to contribute their time, talents and treasures to help the less fortunate in the community.
Objectives
- Develop the social, emotional, psychological and spiritual well being of children, youth and adults by organizing enriching programmes, be it on a preventive or remedial level.
- Provide assistance and counselling to individuals and families with financial difficulties, psychological stress, marital conflicts and family discord.
- Mobilize Christians to reach out to the needy and contribute their time, talent and treasure to this worthy cause.
- Work closely with government bodies and other voluntary welfare organizations in developing services for the needy.
