Assistant Senior/ Senior Social Worker (Family Service)
Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of REACH Family Service, the incumbent will be responsible for the following key areas:—

  • Manage and supervise a team of social workers, ensuring their quality services deliverables
  • Provide case supervision to the new and current social workers
  • Provide direct service practice
  • Actively involved in Community networking and building collaborations with stakeholders
  • Oversees community work and outreach, which include programme management, development and evaluation
  • Groupwork and workshop facilitation
  • Oversees the management statistical reports
Candidate Requirements:
  • Possess a degree or Grad Dip in Social Work
  • With at least 6 years of direct practice experience and 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and community partners to develop solutions in community works
  • Conversant in English and any 2nd language
  • A good team player, dynamic & self-motivated
  • Has a strong passion in reaching out and making a difference in the lives of the needy
  • IT Savvy, and must possess a good knowledge in SSNet
Social Worker (Family Service)
Job Requirements:

Reporting to the Head of REACH Family Service, the incumbent will be responsible for the following key areas:—

  • Information & Referral
  • Casework & Counselling
  • Community work and outreach
  • Groupwork and workshop facilitation
  • Programme development and management
Candidate Requirements:
  • Possess a degree or Grad Dip in Social Work
  • With at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred, new Social Workers will be considered
  • Conversant in English and any 2nd language
  • A good team player, dynamic & self-motivated
  • Has a strong passion in reaching out and making a difference in the lives of the needy
Social Worker (REACH Senior Service)
Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Social Worker in charge of Community Resource, Engagement and Support Team (CREST), the incumbent will be responsible for the following key areas:-

  • Performs community work and outreach, which include screenings, roadshows, programme management, development and evaluation
  • Provides information and support to all clients or caregivers of persons with dementia or at risk of dementia
  • Engages stakeholders and community partners to develop solutions in community work
  • Writes reports and performs administrative tasks and assignments
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must possess at least a Degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work, related to eldercare or mental health.
  • Experience preferred but not necessary
  • Conversant in English and Mandarin preferred due to profile of mostly Mandarin speaking clients
  • A good team player, conscientious and self-motivated
  • Has a strong passion in reaching out and making a difference in the lives of the needy and Seniors
  • IT savvy and creative
Rehabilitation Coach (REACH Youth Service)
Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Community Rehabilitation Centre, the incumbent will be responsible for the following key areas:—

  • Provide mentoring to increase or sustain the motivation of the clients.
  • Communicate with families, agencies, and any other parties involved in the rehabilitation of the client.
  • Maintain orderly conduct of clients both inside and outside of organisation in line with the expectations of stipulated guidelines.
  • Maintain proper documentation and timely submission of reports as required.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the facilities and logistics.
  • Undertake any other tasks to support operations.
  • Be scheduled for shifts
Candidate Requirements:
  • Diploma in Counselling, Social Work or Psychology. Fresh graduates will be – considered.
  • GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Conversant in English and any 2nd language
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and basic statistical analysis
  • Good interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Knowledge of adolescent or human development
  • Ability to communicate with and engage in sports and activities with youth
  • Ability to counsel and mentor youth and work with the families of the youth
  • Able to start work immediately
Executive, Human Resource
Job Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment and selection process, including the placement of job ads, scheduling of interviews, conducting of background reference checks and pre-employment check-ups, preparing letter of offer and applying for any government or authority clearance when needed.
  • Manage the end to end process of onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Facilitate suitable internship placements and reporting.
  • Drive employee events and engagement initiatives including feedback sessions, staff bonding activities and wellness programmes.
  • Administer staff benefits such as leave management and group insurance processes.
  • Maintain employee files in the HR System, ensuring an updated staff information and record.
  • Prepare and submit government statistical reports, statutory surveys, HR schedules and management reports.
  • Maintain training records, administer request for training and development plans and apply for any related funding or grants when needed.
Candidate Requirements
  • Diploma in HR Management. Fresh Graduate will be considered.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience in HR functions, preferably as a HR generalist.
  • Good knowledge of statutory labor requirements and Employment Act.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player who can work with least supervision.
  • Meticulous, well organized and with ability to multi-task.
INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Internship opportunities are available for REACH Senior Service from Dec 2020 onwards. Opportunities for REACH Youth Service will be available for Apr 2021 onwards.

Social Service Intern
Job Responsibilities:
  • Help in programme planning and facilitation
  • Help in community outreach activities
  • Help in home visitations
  • Engage and befriend clients from all walks of life
  • Handle administration work and programme logistics

Community Engagement Intern (available from Sep 2021 onwards)
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in fund-raising event from planning to execution
  • Assist in planning and coordinating outings or activities under our CSR initiatives
  • Assist in designing of marketing materials and collection of success stories
  • Assist in data entry and database management
  • Assist in coordinating interviews with clients or potential candidates and other administration work
