Home Ownership Plus Education Scheme (HOPE)
The Home Ownership Plus Education (HOPE) scheme is a comprehensive scheme initiated by the MSF, to support families working towards breaking out of the poverty cycle.
Our team works with young low-income families through mentoring sessions, allowing them to maximise their resources to achieve a better life for themselves and their children through skills upgrading and stable employment.
Our mentoring sessions are bi-annual, working with families to build resilience, provide them with emotional and social support, as well as link them up with community resources such as SINDA. We also work to empower and motivate couples to seek skills upgrading to gain better employment and financial independence.
REACH Community Services Society is one of the approved agencies that provides the mentoring programme under HOPE Scheme.
If you are interested to enrol for the HOPE Scheme, or if you want to recommend someone who might be eligible, please contact the Social Service Offices (SSOs) in your district.
Besides mentoring sessions, we organize activities that facilitate family bonding and provide educational sharing.
PowerWord Kidz is a reading program held in collaboration with the National Library Board. It aims to instill in children the love for reading and build a life-long reading habit. This program also seeks to develop their imagination, vocabulary and provide a strong foundation for their education.
